Joshua Tree Ranch House was originally built in 1947 at the onset of the California desert exploration and road trip fever across the nation. It operated until the mid-80's, when it was sold and shuttered. Henceforth, it was primarily used as storage, however to locals, it doubled as a road house for all kinds of colorful characters and their escapades, just ask!
The structure underwent a 5 1/2 year restoration, paying careful attention to period details and preserving the vintage ambiance. Returning to it's original décor and classic pioneer charm, the rooms have been upgraded with modern details, without compromising the 1940's road trip experience or sacrificing the history of one of Joshua Tree's most famous private desert getaways.
